Altoids

Nothing says creeper like getting offered a box of Altoids

The king of all hints

Getting offered an Altoid is the easiest way to say "get away from me you creep"

So you were just offered an Altoid huh?

Well go shave your porn stache, take off your trench coat, ball cap, sunglasses, church socks and teva's

And go put on something that doesn't scream "Hi your cute, let me show you my van, its just back here behind the liquor store.

Now I'm just rambling but honestly if someone offers you anything for your breath,

Your either gettin' some, or they are blowing the pre-rape whistle!

Cut your loses, and run.

"ROFL"

I'm Thinking... I'm Thinking
Who am I kidding no I’m not
Every day I see stupid people doing stupid things
Is it that hard to think through something before you do it??
People need to realize their actions effect more people that just themselves
Txting and driving is a great example of not thinking
People don’t realize that last txt you send may as well be someones obituary
And all its gonna say is LOL or ROFL
I’m glad this one txt is so important that someones not gonna make it home.
Think people
Just think

Listening

I know people can hear what I'm saying to them,

But are they really listening to what I'm saying?

Everyday I walk down the halls and I hear different conversations

And then I look at the people’s faces and then I see it,

NOTHING!!!

Everyone seems to be looking off into a different little world of their own

Where everyone there is giving them their undivided attention

And they are loved

When they do this they fail to realize the person right in front of them actually doing so.

People have become so self absorbed that they fail to realize anyone else

Unless they are the center and core of the ongoing conversation they simply tune out.

I find it quite annoying to be honest.

Like right now I’m not even talking about you,

Are you even listening?

I feel like I could just asasflasdfl asnfasnvnasvn and you wouldn’t even notice.

That didn’t make sense good!

Because in my little world, it shouldn’t, and doesn’t have to!

Losing Life to Fear

 In fear of being heard,

In fear of being understood,

In fear of not being heard,

In fear of not being understood,

In fear of being misheard,

In fear of being misunderstood,

In fear of hearing too much,

In fear of understanding too much,

In fear of saying too much,

In fear of saying too little,

In fear of being too enlightened,

In fear of not being factually correct,

In fear of being too bright,

In fear of being too ignorant,

In fear of being praised,

In fear of being bullied,

In fear of not being like others,

In fear of loosing my individuality,

In fear of being ostracized,

In fear of being camouflaged,

In fear of being the attraction,

In fear of being ignored,

In fear of being too different,

In fear of being too common,

In fear of following others,

In fear of disobeying others,

In fear of being too gullible,

In fear of being too stubborn,

In fear of being used,

In fear of being misused,

In fear of rewards,

In fear of punishments,

In fear of responsibility,

In fear of expectations,

In fear of being trusted,

In fear of being mistrusted,

In fear of your lack of response,

In fear of your over-reaction,

In fear of eternal silence,

In fear of noisy communication,

In fear of your acceptance,

In fear of your rejection,

In fear of exciting you,

In fear of upsetting you,

In fear of loving you,

In fear of hating you,

In fear of your love,

In fear of your hatred,

In fear of being loved,

In fear of being hated,

In fear of thinking,

In fear of existing,

In fear of living,

In fear of dying,

In fear of being myself,

In fear of being another,

In fear of knowing myself,

In fear of neglecting myself,

I lost my voice;

I lost my identity;

I lost my self.

I lost this life;

I lost my life;

I lost life's life.

Suraj Samtani

I really enjoyed this poem because like Mr. Nelsons writing it shows both sides to a fear.  It shows that while one thing might be scary, the opposite might be worse.  In fear of living, in fear of dying.  How do we live?

Writing

I'm sitting here at my computer, trying to think of something to write about, and I think and I think and I got ... nothing.  Then I just decided I would good to write about my experience on this blog so far.  This blog has reassured me that I can truly write what I feel without fear of retribution, and I love that.  I like that I can really put thought into my posts and read them back to myself and get something new out of my own words.  I love that I can come to this page everyday and vent about things that have happened to me, and I get points for it! It’s awesome!!

Love

Love is a roller coaster, it has its up and downs,
and you can't always see what's coming up around the next corner, but it's the rush of emotion,
the steep drops that scare you,
and going back up the hill that pushes you back into your seat that gives you a concrete feeling
that it is safe.
It's the anticipation that leaves you wanting more.
It's the  drop of the first hill that gives you butterflies and you don't care because it feels good
and it's a new feeling.
Love is like a roller coaster because you go around sharp turns that jerk you side to side
making you feel different about this ride you have gotten on,
it may even leave you second guessing your decision to take on this beast.
But then the car straightens itself back out again and your sit solid in your seat,
reassuring you that you want to be in this cart, and you want to be in love.
Love is like a roller coaster because because of the seat belts.
The seat belts of love are the happy memories that you share with ONE person and only that person.  The memories that even through the most difficult times in the relationship,
the seat belts show you what the relationship can be and has been,
so you stay committed, even with the risk involved.
Love is like a roller coaster because even though you are scared out of your mind,
and you realize the risk involved,
and even though you might get hurt beyond repair, you get on the ride anyway.
Every chance you get.

Repetition

Im gonna take you for a spin along this little
Blog
of mine although you all might be just sitting waiting for a
Jog
of your memory to take you back to a happier
Time
when school wasnt so hard and life just wasnt so
Tricky
like Shawn White in his prime busting out new tricks to blow your
Mind
your words as you go throughout your day, you never know who might be
Mimicking
like a mime in the town square just trying to get some
Cash
money to pay the bills to support the family that deserted him and left him all
Alone
we all know the feeling, like no one is there for you when life kicks you in the gut and
Laughs
as you stumble to reach your feet struggling to inhale that precious
Air
jordans a status symbol for all man kind, checking out your new kicks eyeballing your
Swag
is for boys, class is for
Men
needed to fight for what is rightfully theirs, even if it means they must
Walk
the road less traveled or run from something they are
Not
going to be again, running from the past isnt
Easy
enough sometimes as mistakes seem to go in circles around you
Following
you wherever your little feet take you, repeating the motion you taught them long ago
But,
all you want is to forget the repetition.

Humans

From the way you grip the leather on your steering wheel
To the way you express your excitement after you win your bets
Humans are all unique
The way you sneeze
The way you clench your teeth with anger
These things make humans human
The look on someones face after losing a loved one
The love someone has for a certain family heirloom
Humanity is ever changing and ever evolving
Like Pikachu in his prime
We evolve to our every day foes
Whether its a Bulbasor or a Charzard
A death or an exam
We change to whatever challenge we meet on that day
If we choose not to meet the day head on
We retreat to our pokeball of comfort to await an easier foe
The only problem is the next days challenges may not be easier than todays
We must fight every day to win
We must fight every day to show that we may be humans
But we are strong and will not stay down
We may be just your run of the mill species
But we will not be denied the happiness we strive for
